Brioche Bread

Soft and slightly sweet, Brioche bread is perfect for breakfasts or sandwiches.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 grams all-purpose flour
  • 10 grams dry yeast
  • 100 grams butter softened
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing
  • Sift the flour into a large bowl add the salt and sugar. Make a well in the center.
  • Add the dry yeast and warm milk dissolving the yeast. Then add the eggs and softened butter, kneading the dough.
  • Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 90 minutes.
  • Knead the dough again and place it into a parchment-lined loaf pan. Shape it cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Brush the top with beaten egg yolk. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
